The Raveness is a beautiful brunette self-taught poet and harpsichordist from the birthplace of William Shakespeare, in Stratford-Upon-Avon. She began with a book released under her real name, authored by Siân Lavinia Anaïs Valeriana. Her nom de plume 'The Raveness' was given to her as a nickname by a close friend and since 2005 she has used it to release her poetry in the form of recordings. Noted her love of the infamous spirit, Absinthe.

The Raveness is termed for her love of macabre and coincidentally can be referred to as a dark haired female, with beautiful features most famously noted as Edgar Allan Poe's 'Ligeia'.
The Raveness, Ligeia is the wife of the narrator in Poe's short story.
