14th century Spanish king from the area outside of present day Barcelona. Family inhabited Castrillo Castle and the surrounding lands for 7 centuries. Generally considered the only competant regional baron of his line and staunch opponent to the remnant of the Muslim forces remaining on the Iberian peninsula. Known to history as El Cid Grande y Defensor del Fe.
Carlos Castrillo was a great hero to all the people of Spain and to you especially.
